The Management of Nandom fm (TBS), a radio station located in the center of Nandom Municipality invites applications for the following vacancies on both part-time and full-time bases. Applicants must demonstrate competence in their interested area and be committed to the job. Qualified and interested individuals are hereby encouraged to apply and indicate their interesting position as given below and also indicate whether full-time or part-time.

  7. Regional correspondents (Greater Accra and Ashanti)

  11. Day and night security guards

The following are the expectations of the various roles;


Applicants should be able to demonstrate personal knowledge and experience in:

  • Identifying and soliciting new business and marketing ideas.
  • Preparation of budgets and cost sheets for consideration by General Manager
  • Maintenance of proper books of accounts
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
  • Management of accounts receivables and payables
  • Timely reconciliation of accounts
  • Supervising the daily collection and banking of cash
  • Liaising with external auditors where necessary
  • Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and

Competencies:           Academic

  • Part Two of ICA-Ghana/ACCA, or
  • First degree in accounting from an accredited university or
  • HND in Accounting


  • Proficient in the use of Micro Soft Office Suite, especially excel spreadsheet
  • Knowledge of ERP Packages such as Tally, Sage, or any accounting software
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills



The successful candidates would be expected to generate and research ideas for programs, source on-air contributors, write and develop scripts, select music for the show, and listen to recordings to edit them into stories or segments. He/she may also be expected to present programs on-air or manage the presenters for pre-recorded or live broadcast content.



The successful candidate will be expected to have knowledge of studio and recording equipment. He/she would be expected to provide creative and technical support to show teams to ensure that what comes out of the radio is as high quality as possible.



The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.



Should possess specialization in the design, installation, and maintenance of broadcasting systems for a radio station. His/her duties may include but are not limited to selecting and maintaining the equipment most suitable for Nandom FM, and making electrical and equipment repairs as needed.



The successful candidate will be expected to host radio programs such as talkback shows, music programs, news bulletins, or programs relating to specific content or communities. He/she will be required to research and prepare for their spot/program, talk to their listeners, play entertainment items, interview guests and celebrities and provide public information.



DJ will be responsible for engaging with listeners, queueing up playlists, presenting commercials, performing interviews, and taking music requests among others



To serve as the first point of call that enables advertisers to access affordable radio advertising and helps broadcasters to sell their inventory in an efficient way.



The Secretary will be responsible for keeping people informed about the organization’s activities. His/her job will not only be limited to taking minutes of meetings but will also include managing phone lines when listeners call in. timing the slots and archiving past programs among others.



Must demonstrate availability, be able to communicate in Dagara and a bit of English, and be between the ages of 18 and 50 years of age

He is a multipurpose communication expert, and a lecturer, with a Masters Degree in Communication and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television. He is also credited with over 10years experience in public broadcasting. -Chairman
